Speed = 40 kmph = 40/60 km/minute=2/3 km/minute ,50 kmph = 50/60 km/minute=5/6 km/minute
If distance= x km and actual time t minutes
Y/(2/3) =t+11 ----------(1)
Y/(5/6)= t+5 ----------(2)
After equating,
3Y/2 – 6Y/5 =6 => (15Y – 12Y)/10 = 6 =>Y = 20KM.
From Equation 1, t = 30-11=19 minutes.
